WELCOME
DELF Consulting Engineers (Pty) Ltd was registered in
2001 to operate as a specialist consulting engineering practise providing
services in the civil and structural engineering fields. Currently our
main focus is in the structural disciplines where we specialise in design
and implementation of projects involving reinforced concrete as well as
steel structures. Occasionally we get involved in the design of structures
consisting of aluminium, timber, masonry or polypropylene.
Our Structural Design capabilities cover the following aspects:
- Telecommunication Infrastructure – Design of guyed
masts, lattice towers, monopoles and satellite dishes including
foundations and ancillary buildings.
- General Structures - All aspects of design in reinforced concrete,
structural steel, masonry and timber, including foundation design, low
and high rise buildings, office and shopping complexes, warehouses,
mining and industrial structures, water retaining structures including
swimming pools, bridges and road related structures and housing
developments.
- Materials Handling and Storage – Design of bins, hoppers, silos,
bunkers, stockpiles, reclaim tunnels and conveyor structures for storage
and handling of various mining and agricultural products.
- Dynamic analyses for machine foundations and buildings housing
reciprocating, rotating and vibrating machinery.

- Project Management including project administration,
time scheduling, cost control and quality control for any particular
civil or structural related project.
- Feasibility studies and investigations into economic
viability of civil and structural related projects.
- Bulk Services – All aspects of design of water
reticulation, sewer reticulation and stormwater management for any
particular development.
- Roads – Design of all types of roads including the
design of road networks for commercial, industrial and housing
developments.
